Our Zonta e-Club of Switzerland 1, a proud member of Zonta International, was founded in 2020. It is made up of women from different Latin American countries, united by a shared commitment to building a fairer and more equitable world for women and future generations—beyond language and cultural differences.

We firmly believe that when people work together, we can create a positive impact on our communities. As an electronic club, we meet virtually, which allows us to overcome geographical distances and form a strong, dynamic and committed team.

Being part of the global Zonta community has enabled us to take part in projects aimed at empowering women, closing the gender gap, reducing the injustices and violence that affect women and girls around the world, and expanding access to education for all.

We contribute to these goals through awards, financial support to organizations, backing social impact initiatives, and recognizing Latin American women.

We currently lead two main projects:

Award “Latin American NGOs – No to violence against women”, aimed at organizations in Latin America that defend women’s rights.

Award for Latin American Women/Students in Switzerland, which highlights and values the contributions of migrant women in professional and academic spheres.
