NGOs in Latin America
Award “Latin American NGOs – No to Violence Against Women”
This project is at the heart of our e-Club. Its main goal is to provide financial support to non-governmental organizations in Latin America that actively work to defend women’s rights and eliminate gender-based violence.
The award has had two editions, with the winning NGOs selected by a jury of three gender specialists who evaluated the impact and reach of each proposal.
Second edition – 2023

This edition focused on Mexico, which that year reported the highest rates of femicide in Latin America. Thanks to funds raised in our benefit concert, the award was expanded to recognize two exceptional organizations:
Colectivo Solecito de Veracruz: Composed of around 300 women, mostly mothers of missing persons. In addition to search efforts, they promote awareness of women’s rights through workshops and community information.
Mujer Contemporánea A.C.: Founded 28 years ago, it was the first shelter in Mexico for women victims of extreme violence. It offers safe housing, emotional support, psychological therapy, legal advice, medical care, and job training. Its holistic approach seeks women’s emotional and economic autonomy to break the cycle of violence.
First edition – 2021
Held in June 2021, the first award went to Fundación Honra from Chile. This organization works from a gender-based perspective in various areas. It was recognized for its project to protect Mapuche women who are victims of domestic violence, demonstrating a culturally relevant approach and tangible impact in vulnerable communities.
