Award for a Latin American Woman/Student in Switzerland
This award aims to make visible and recognize the contributions of Latin American migrant women in Switzerland, both professionally and academically. It stems from our e-Club’s commitment to highlighting stories of effort, perseverance and social contribution in intercultural contexts.
Despite social progress, stereotypes and barriers persist that hinder full integration and recognition of migrant women’s talents. That is why this award seeks to highlight inspiring paths that can serve as models for other women in their own processes of adaptation, education or personal development in Switzerland. It also promotes broader societal recognition, helping to close cultural gaps and eliminate stigmas.
2024 Edition
This edition focused on Latin American university students, with awards in two categories: undergraduate and graduate. Being part of the Swiss academic system is already a major achievement for many migrant women. Their success showcases the talent and determination of Latin American women, and we at the e-Club are proud to recognize their efforts as a source of inspiration.
2021 Edition
Targeted at Latin American professional women, this first edition celebrated the work of women who are role models for their community involvement and resilience. Multiple profiles were awarded, reflecting the diversity and richness of the Latin American contribution in Switzerland.
